usecure is a security awareness company with an office in Manchester whose platform runs training on autopilot. It covers training, phishing, policies and breach monitoring, and now adds a human risk intelligence layer on top.

In short: usecure is a human risk management platform, from a company with offices in Manchester and the US, that automates security awareness training (uLearn), phishing simulation (uPhish), policy sign-off (uPolicy) and dark web breach monitoring (uBreach), with uHealth adding human risk intelligence. It syncs users from Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and suits small and mid-sized organisations wanting low admin.

What usecure is

usecure is a software company, founded in 2016, that lists offices in Manchester in the UK and in the United States. It builds its platform for both in-house IT teams and managed service providers. It describes the platform as human risk management (HRM) rather than plain awareness training: the aim is to measure how likely each person is to be the cause of an incident, then reduce that risk automatically with training, simulations, policies and fixes.

The emphasis is on automation. Once the platform is connected to your directory, it enrols people, schedules short lessons, sends phishing simulations at varied times, chases anyone who has not finished and produces reports, without someone planning each campaign by hand. That makes usecure a natural fit for organisations that know they need a training programme but do not have the time to run one.

If you are new to the subject, start with what security awareness training is and then human risk management, which explains the wider approach usecure follows.

The five usecure products

usecure is made up of five products that share one console, one user list and one set of reports:

ProductWhat it doesRead more
uLearnAdaptive training: a short gap analysis per person, then bite-sized lessons on their weakest topics, with remindersusecure uLearn
uPhishAutomated phishing simulations from a large template library, with instant micro-training for anyone who is caughtusecure uPhish
uPolicyPolicy library, upload of your own policies, e-signature acknowledgement, reminders and re-sign schedulesusecure uPolicy
uBreachDark web monitoring of staff email accounts, with uBreach Pro adding domain-wide monitoring and alertsusecure uBreach
uHealthHuman Risk Intelligence: scores people across four risk pillars, finds toxic combinations and ranks fixesusecure uHealth

The first four generate the signals: what people know, how they behave when tested, what they have signed and whether their credentials have leaked. uHealth, the newest product, joins those signals with identity, hygiene and access data from Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace to show where risk actually sits.

Platform features that keep admin low

  • Auto Enrol: users and groups sync from Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, new starters are enrolled from day one and leavers drop off, so the user list never goes stale
  • Auto Phish: you set a frequency and each person receives a simulation at a random time within each interval, optionally limited to working hours
  • Custom LMS: a drag-and-drop course builder for your own procedures, alongside a library usecure lists at more than 200 courses
  • End User Portal: staff see their outstanding courses and policies, their phishing history, breaches linked to their account and their own risk score, with magic-link or SAML single sign-on access
  • Reporting: an organisation-wide Human Risk Score, a Time to Breach estimate and branded executive summary reports that can run on demand or on a schedule
  • Multi-tenant management for IT providers, with one admin portal across every client organisation, which is how we run usecure for clients

Who usecure suits

usecure tends to suit organisations that:

  • Use Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and want users to be enrolled and removed automatically
  • Want training, phishing, policy sign-off and breach checks in one place, rather than separate tools
  • Have no dedicated security awareness manager, so automation matters more than endless configuration
  • Need evidence for insurers, auditors or customers: completion records, policy acknowledgements and risk trends
  • Want a vendor with a UK office and training content in more than 15 languages and regional variants

It is a strong option for small businesses and growing mid-sized firms. Organisations that already hold Microsoft 365 E5 may prefer to start with Attack Simulation Training, and firms buying email security at the same time may prefer training bundled with it. Our platforms compared page sets usecure beside the other vendors we supply.

How usecure is licensed

usecure is licensed per user, per month. The core plan includes uLearn, uPhish, uPolicy and uBreach Starter together, along with reporting and support, so there are no separate training and phishing editions to choose between. On top of that:

  • uBreach Pro is an add-on that extends dark web monitoring to every address on your domains and is priced by the number of domains monitored
  • uHealth, the new human risk intelligence product, is not yet listed on usecure's public pricing page, so ask us about availability and terms

usecure offers monthly billing for managed service providers, which is how we supply it, so the user count can follow your directory sync. Pricing depends on user numbers and the options you choose, so ask us for a quote. For the licensing detail, see usecure licensing on Software Licensing UK.

How we run usecure for you

We are vendor-independent, so we will only recommend usecure where it fits. When it does, we can run it as part of our managed security awareness training service:

  1. Connect your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace directory and configure delivery, including any allow rules your email security needs
  2. Run a baseline: a gap analysis for every user and a first phishing simulation
  3. Agree priorities, such as payment fraud for finance or new-starter induction, and switch on Auto Enrol and Auto Phish
  4. Load your policies into uPolicy and set acknowledgement and re-sign schedules
  5. Review breach findings and, where licensed, uHealth priorities with you each month
  6. Report quarterly to your board or insurer using completion, reporting and risk-score trends

How Forever Systems runs your awareness programme

We are vendor-independent. We compare the security awareness and phishing simulation platforms that suit your size, sector, Microsoft 365 licensing and existing security tools, recommend one, then run it for you so training and phishing tests actually happen month after month.

  • Baseline phishing simulation to see where you start
  • Platform selection and set-up, with single sign-on and automatic user sync from Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace where the platform supports it
  • A year-round plan of short training modules, simulated phishing campaigns and policy sign-off, including new-starter induction
  • Sector and role content for schools, charities, healthcare, legal, finance, public sector and high-risk roles such as finance teams and help desks
  • Reporting for the board, auditors, insurers and Cyber Essentials, showing completion, reporting and click trends
  • Joined-up defences: email security, MFA, endpoint protection and dark web monitoring so training is backed by technology
